In this episode, Mark Riedemann interviews Fr. Poul Misik, a priest from Papua New Guinea. Fr. Poul shares his experiences as a child growing up in the rural area of the Highlands of the country, a community still rooted in tribal social structures. One of the challenges in the region is the constant rivalry between the tribes that translate into violent episodes. But one of the main challenges the Church faces in PNG is the brutal transformation that globalization has brought to this society, giving access to technology that is significantly affecting the social fabric.
