Mothering, Full of Grace goes on a holiday

July 23, 2008
mothering-4amwatch.JPGYippee!! Let’s get out of here! We’re on vacation!
Ahhh… holidays. The getaway from the everyday… but not from your faith. Just because you’re not at home doesn’t mean Mass becomes a thing of the past and prayer is something to do when you get back. As Pope Benedict puts it, holidays are the opportunities for families to step back from the busyness of everyday life and come together in more frequent moments of prayer and reflection.
So where are you going on the holidays? And did you pack your bible in that suitcase?
Join Rhea Johner as she hosts Mothering, Full of Grace. We’ll meet the McNeils, who share their experience of pilgrimages as vacations, as well as hear from Julie and Paul Waters, who talk about what family holidays taught their kids. And our moms discuss ways we can make feast days and Holy days as exciting as holidays.
Watch Mothering, Full of Grace this Wednesday, July 23rd at 8pm and midnight ET, or Sunday, July 27th at the same times.
