Today's the day! It's Election Day across the country!
And while Canada's campaign may have been overshadowed by our louder neighbours to the south preparing for their own ballot-taking in November, this by no means lessens the importance of our own vote, selecting and supporting a party that we think will do best for our country.
If you haven't already,  get yourselves informed and get to your polling station. If you need some last minute guidance in your decision making, let us direct you to the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops for their Election Guide (www.cccb.ca/site/images/stories/pdf/election_2008_en.pdf) or visit the Catholic Register website for their collection of stories related to the election (www.catholicregister.org).
