Friday has brought exciting news for the Canadian Church: there's been a number of Episcopal appointments by His Holiness, Pope Benedict XVI! Salt + Light rejoices with those in the areas of Vancouver, Kingston, and New Westminister at the good news! You can read all about the appointments HERE.
Coadjutor Archbishop-elect Michael Miller, C.S.B.One of the appointments involves the Most Reverend Michael Miller, C.S.B. Currently (or formerly!) the Secretary of the Congregation for Catholic Education in Rome, he has been named Coadjutor Archbishop of Vancouver. Salt + Light is pleased to present an encore presentation of Witness featuring Coadjutor Archbishop-elect Michael Miller. You can watch that edition of our popular interview program hosted by Father Thomas Rosica this Sunday, June 3rd, on Salt + Light at 8:30pm and 12:30am ET. It will repeat again Monday, June 4th at 1:00pm ET.
After watching Witness at 8:30pm on Sunday, be sure to catch our new series Eye on the Church. The debut episode examines Pius XII and the Holocaust and premieres this Sunday at 9:00 pm ET.
Enjoy your weekend!
