S+L Presents: The 12 Days of Christmas

December 21, 2011
One of the things that helps us keep focused on the real point of Christmas is taking time to stop and step back from the usual hustle and bustle of everyday life.  Salt + Light staff will be doing that this year, but we won't leave you without something special to watch.
Perspectives Daily will go on hiatus from December 22 to January 2. In it's place we will bring you "The 12 Days of Christmas." Every day one of our Salt + Light team members shares what they do to keep focused on Christ at Christmas and some of their favourite Christmas traditions.
This year we also introduce you to some of the faces behind the scenes: Jeroen, our Master Control Manager who grew up in the Netherlands,  shares his memories from the Dutch Christmases of his childhood. Bosco, part of our Chinese division, shares his memories of Christmas Eve in Hong Kong and David, our cameraman, remembers rainy Christmases on the West Coast.
Of course the usual faces of S+L also sit down to talk about how they stay focused on Christ at Christmas. Pedro remembers Christmas 1989 in Panama, Cheridan recalls serving Christmas dinner to those in need, and Marie Noelle talks about creating a family feel even in the most unlikely of places. Fr. Thomas Rosica, CEO of Salt + Light Catholic Media Foundation shares his unforgettable experiences celebrating Christmas in the place where it all began.
The 12 Days of a Salt + Light Christmas will air everyday between December 22 and January 2 at 7:00pm ET/ 4:00pm PT
