Programming Note for Thursday: Mass & Procession from Rome on the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ

June 11, 2009
b16corpuschristiMany of our readers will be celebrating the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ this Sunday. However, some parts of the Catholic world, including Rome, celebrate this great solemnity today, June 11th, the first Thursday after Trinity Sunday.
Salt + Light Television is pleased to present special coverage of Vatican celebrations today. At approximately 1pm ET, we will begin our live broadcast of Holy Mass, followed by a Eucharistic Procession. His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI is the main celebrant. There will be an encore presentation of the Mass and Procession this evening at 9pm ET.
We hope you can join us for today's broadcast as a means to enter more fully into this great Solemnity -- whether you are celebrating it today or this Sunday!
