This weekend on Salt + Light we have lots of live events for you.
On Friday, at 3:30pm ET, you may have seen the dedication of the new church of the Most Holy Trinity in Fatima, presided over by Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone. This weekend marks, of course, marks the 90th anniversary celebrations of the apparitions of Fatima.
On Saturday we continue our coverage, beginning at 12:30pm ET, with a Mass and procession of the commemoration of the 90th anniversary of the Fatima apparitions.
We'll switch gears later that day with coverage of Holy Mass from the Cathedral of Ravenna, in Italy, part of the Joint International Commission for Theological Dialogue between Catholics and Orthodox. That begins at 2:30pm ET.
On Sunday, October 14th, at 10am ET, we will broadcast the Divine Liturgy from the Cathedral of Ravenna, part of the Joint International Commission for Theological Dialogue between Catholics and Orthodox.
All broadcasts are in the original Italian.
In addition to this, on Monday, October 15th, at 5pm ET we will broadcast a recap of the 90th anniversary celebrations with commentary in English given by Michael Knox, S.J.  Michael has recently volunteered his time to help us out here at Salt + Light.  In addition to special recaps like this, he is working on some "Moments in Church History" that you can look forward to in the coming months.
Enjoy your weekend!
