Pope Meets Iranian President - Perspectives Daily

January 26, 2016
Pope Francis met the president of Iran today. Its the first time since 1999 that a pope meets with a president of Iran. The International Eucharistic Congress is going on in Cebu, and one group of Canadian pilgrims made sure to leave their mark on the city, especially with those in need. Plus, the community of La Loche, Saskatchewan is in mourning after a shooting that left several young people and community members dead. We spoke to Archbishop Murry Chatlain who is in La Loche ministering to his parishioners in the wake of the tragedy.
