Witness

Witness presents men and women who are making a difference in both big and small ways. Father Thomas Rosica hosts a series of in-depth interviews with distinguished, high-level religious and civic leaders - people who are contributing significantly to the vibrancy of their Catholic communities. Witness provides viewers with theological reflection, as well as personal insight into those who shape society. This week, Fr. Thomas Rosica, CSB, sits down with Sr. Laurie Brink, a Dominican Sister of Sinsinawa. Watch Witness on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at 8:00 pm ET (5:00 pm PT) only on Salt + Light! Repeats:

One Rock

The One Rock Youth Festival is an annual festival of faith for young adults and their families held in the diocese of Calgary, and supported by the dioceses of Alberta and North Western Territories. The festival gathers engaging speakers and renowned musical artists for a weekend of music, praise and inspirational talks at the Redwood Meadows Fair Grounds (Tsuu T’ina Rodeo Grounds). World renown Christian speakers, artists and musicians charge the weekend with an air of enthusiasm and fun, while showing our young adults that faith can be lived in the real world in exciting and motivational ways. Lectio Divina

In Lectio Divina, Cardinal Collins slowly reads an excerpt from Scripture, offers a short reflection, and invites the congregation to quietly meditate on the passage. Rather than Bible study, it is intended to draw us closer to God through this sacred reading, and to transform our attitudes and behaviour. This week, Cardinal Thomas Collins tackles The Gospel of Mark: The Trial of Jesus ( Mark 14: 43-65). Watch Lectio Divina on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at 9:00 pm ET (6:00 pm PT) only on Salt + Light!
