April 1, 2011  |  Christ asks us to do it. In fact, He prays that we will. Ecumenism, how do we live it? John Stein writes via Facebook: “To see ecumenism as a pre-existing reality in the mind of God, accomplished by Christ Jesus. We must mend our nets to participate in real time in this tremendous haul, for the souls of all humanity.”

Indeed, this is Christ's great prayer on the night before He died. " ..That they may all become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you have sent me and have loved then even as you have loved me. " (Jn 17: 23) How do we actively pursue this oneness and by doing so, contribute to the fulfillment of the prayer of Christ?
