Deacon Pedro speaking with Chuck and Jeri Marple.

This week on a special end-of-life edition of the SLHour we continue to look at what it means to have medically assisted dying in Canada. We speak with Lisa Daniels who suffers from intolerable, debilitating pain and her doctor, Robert Hauptman and also with Chuck and Jeri Marple whose daughter Mary has cerebral palsy. They speak about quality of life and living with dignity.

Once again Euthanasia and Assisted Suicide is being discussed in the Canadian Parliament. But it’s not just being debated in Parliament. This week on S+L Radio we speak to 13 year-old Lia Mills who last year tackled the subject of abortion for her school speech. This year she speaks on Euthanasia; and we speak with singer/songwriter Denis Grady and the Unity Awards that are coming to Canada this year.
